The announced $800,000 exploration program (see press release February 24, 2015) commenced in late April 2015 (see press release April 30, 2015) and is currently under budget and approximately one month ahead of planned schedule.

(“Klondike Gold” or the “Company”) (TSX.V:KG) is pleased to announce the commencement of the 2015 exploration program (see press release February 24, 2015) targeting gold-bearing quartz veins and newly identified fault structures (see press releases January 14, 2015 and January 19, 2015) on the Lone Star and Dominion Properties near Dawson, Yukon Territory.

Vancouver, British Columbia, February 24, 2015, Klondike Gold Corp. (TSX.V:KG) (“Klondike Gold” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the Board has approved a $800,000 exploration program for 2015 focused on the Lone Star and Dominion Properties, Yukon Territory. The program consists of the collection of target specific geophysics, soil geochemistry, trenching, plus prospecting and mapping. In addition, the Company has budgeted for an initial test of approximately 1,000 meters of diamond drilling contingent upon continued positive detailed exploration results. Klondike Gold has working capital of approximately $1.2 million and is fully funded for 2015. Field work is expected to begin in May.

(TSX.V:KG) (“Klondike Gold” or the “Company”) announces receipt of final payment of cash and shares pertaining to the disposition of five gold exploration permits covering 600 square kilometers in northern Portugal to Medgold Resources Corp. (“Medgold”) as per the Definitive Agreement between the companies (see news releases dated December 11, 2013 and January 30, 2014).

(TSX.V:KG) (“Klondike Gold” or the “Company”) announces rock assay results from 37 prospecting samples on the Gold Run Property collected during the 2014 field program as part of a broader program evaluating the Lone Star, Dominion, and Gold Run Properties totalling 22,500 hectares area located near Dawson, YT, Canada. Klondike Gold owns a 100% interest of 1,228 quartz claims and 14 crown grants covering the western half of the Klondike placer goldfields. The Company also reports the acquisition by staking of an additional 178 quartz claims totalling an additional 3,100 hectares adjoining or in the immediate area of the Lone Star and Dominion Properties.
